The Youth Musician and Artist Association (YMAA) is a non-profit organization founded in 2015, composed of students from elementary to high school across the Greater Vancouver area. YMAA is dedicated to enriching the community through the arts by providing young musicians and artists with opportunities to perform while making a positive social impact.

YMAA organizes fundraising concerts, performances at senior homes, charity events supporting food banks, and other community initiatives. Through these activities, YMAA fosters youth artistic development, encourages community engagement, and brings people together across generations, contributing to the cultural and social vitality of the Greater Vancouver area.

Our goal is to bring joy, happiness, and inspiration to the community by dedicating our time and effort through music and art, one performance at a time. We believe in the transformative power of the arts to uplift spirits and strengthen community bonds. To achieve this, we hold regular performances, particularly at senior homes, where we seek to bring comfort and entertainment to elderly residents. In response to evolving times, we have also expanded our efforts by hosting virtual recitals, allowing us to continue sharing our music and art with a broader audience, regardless of physical limitations.

YMAA envisions a future where our connection with the community continues to grow and flourish. We aim to strengthen our relationship with the people we serve by organizing more events that bring music and art to a wider audience. Additionally, we are committed to fostering closer connections with our dedicated volunteers, ensuring they feel valued and supported in their efforts. Through these initiatives, we hope to create a more vibrant, unified community that benefits from the joy and inspiration of the arts.
